✅ Incredible immersive gameplay that refines from previous entries along with a great soundtrack, tons of different routes for extra replay value
#Metal slug 3 fio series#
✅ Tons of epic enemy designs such as mutant crabs, aliens, brain vat machines, underwater eels and submarines and bosses are some of the best in the series ✅ The most creative and diverse levels in the entire series, graphics are fantastic ❌ The final boss, the Rugname was incredibly disappointing to fight ❌ Metal Slug 2 had rather bad slowdown, although XX does fix this ❌ Some flawed stage design, such as the difficulty of not getting killed by the Subway enemy in stage 5 with only your default weapon, or the rather unfun/unfair start to stage 6 with annoying enemy placements ✅ Some really awesome boss design like Dragon Nosuke, Aeshi Nero and Hozmi ✅ Fun interactions with new themed enemies and transformations, like Mummy and Fat Form and how they really change fighting tactics, or riding animals like the Camel Slug ✅ Fantastic interaction with different environments, such as the Desert and Mummy Level that also have more developed stage design ❌ Graphics are good, but compared to other entries aren't that memorable ❌ Bosses are relatively mediocre compared to other entries, Tani Oh isn't very fun to fight ❌ Sometimes stage design is a bit basic and bland ✅ Good Sense of Progression with good interactions with the enemy soldiers and tanks This comes with the tight controls, great animations and action that would continue in each successor game. ✅ Started the incredible run and gun experience that would be the Metal Slug Series. This list will cover the best 3 and worst 3 things about each mainstream Metal Slug Game.
